     Like many other disasters the mission of rescuing people and rebuilding the country takes many years to accomplish.  This is the time to gather all response teams and put our efforts together to help lessen the pain for the victims and constructively gather our talents to best use our resources.

     The high-tech community in Silicon Valley has gathered together and formed an alliance to help raise money and emergency aid (such as tents, sleeping bags, portable toilets, etc.) through a more concerted effort.
